Nicest salon in Santa Monica
"When I opened a business in Santa Monica 7 years ago, I was on the lookout for a new Hair Salon. I only needed to look three doors down. When you go into Hair Designers studio you are treated like a friend. All the stylists, colorists, facialists, and the nail lady are wonderful. They are a full service salon and can fix whatever needs fixing and tell you when its time for a change. Many of my customers comment on my hair and I refer them to Hair Designers Studio and they are always very happy. I am always amazed at how busy they are and that they have had some customers since they first opened. IA very good sign in todays economy. I highly reccomend this salon and wouldn't think of goin anywhere else!"

BEST HAIR SALON ON THE WESTSIDE
"I HAVE BEEN A CUSTOMER OF HDS FOR OVER SIX YEARS AND HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER. I ORIGINALLY WENT TO THEM TO FIX A HORRIBLE MISTAKE MY HAIRDRESSER MADE WITH MY COLOR. NOT ONLY WERE THEY PROFESSIONAL, BUT THEY ARE ALL WARM AND COMPASSIONATE PROFESSIONALS. IT FEELS LIKE YOU ARE ENTERING A SPA WHEN YOU GO IN, AND WHEN YOU LEAVE, YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE SPENT HOURS AT A SPA. I HAVE VERY DIFFICULT HAIR, AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISSAPOINTED WITH THE WAY MY HAIR LOOKS WHEN I LEAVE. I THINK THIS SALON IS A HIDDEN TREASURE IN SANTA MONICA. I HAVE NEVER MET ANYONE WHO DOES COLOR BETTER THAN THE PROFESSIONALS AT THIS SALON. NOT ONLY DO YOU GET GREAT SERVICE, BUT YOU ARE ALWAYS GREETED WITH A WARM HUG, A CUP OF COFFEE, AND A LITTLE SNACK TO BOOT. IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE YOU ARE GOING TO YOUR FAVORITE AUNTS HOUSE TO HAVE YOUR HAIR DONE. THE CLIENTELE DOESN'T CHANGE, NOR DOES THE STAFF!!! I THINK ANYONE WOULD BE HARD PRESSED TO FIND A BETTER PLACE TO GET YOUR HAIR DONE."

Is it possible...an unpretentious salon
in Santa Monica?
"If you like cold and pretentious salons you have many choices in the greater L.A. area. Santa Monica Hair Salon however, is not one of them. I have had the pleasure of getting my hair cut at HDS for more than six years. The salon is staffed by talented professionals committed to customer satisfaction. What I really enjoy about my visits to HDS is the welcome I receive when I walk through the door. The relaxing atmosphere and attention to detail such as robes to protect your clothing would lead you to believe that you?re in for an expensive visit. Surprisingly, prices are very reasonable and the cost of my haircut is the same today as it was on my first visit. I appreciate the total lack of employee turnover. I can count on a perfect haircut every time. I also do not have to make appointments weeks in advance. If you?re particular about who cuts your hair and prefer a salon with caring people then Santa Monica Hair Sqalon is for you."

Simply the best salon
"If you would like the best haircut you've ever had and a perfect manicure, go to Hair Designers. How do I know? I've been a patron of the salon for more than 20 years, and during all those years I've never had a bad haircut or less than perfect nails! It's a fun place to go, too, because you are welcomed and treated like a valued friend. When I first discovered this marvelous salon, I lived in Mar Vista,so I traveled only about 5 miles. Ten years ago, I moved more than 50 miles away, but the distance hasn't changed anything. I wouldn't even consider going elsewhere ... not as long as I am capable of driving. Their prices are fair and reasonable in today's economy. If you are looking for firstrate stylists and service, you might want to try this salon. I recommend it! "
